Thinking of the best way to spend a day out in Bethesda is hard. It’s hard because there is simply so much fun stuff to do here that it’s difficult to choose between everything Bethesda has to offer. Fantastic sites, shopping, entertainment, and restaurants make Bethesda one of the best places to live in the entire Baltimore-DC area and one of the places to spend a day out. Here is how we would spend a day out in Bethesda:

9:00 a.m. – Wake Up Late

Our perfect day out in Bethesda starts with a nice long night of sleep in your luxury Bethesda apartment. After all, who wants to set an alarm on their perfect day out? Today is the one day it doesn’t matter if you hit that snooze button.

9:30 a.m.- Breakfast at the Original Pancake House

Nothing beats a perfect platter of pancakes at the Original Pancake House (don’t miss their bacon either) in the morning to start your perfect day out in Bethesda. Especially when it’s just a short walk down Wisconsin Avenue from your apartment at Flats at 8300. So chow down at Bethesda’s favorite breakfast spot to fuel up for the day ahead.

10:30 a.m. – Explore Cabin John Regional Park

Now that you’ve loaded up on breakfast food, it’s time to work off those calories by exploring Cabin John Regional Park, our favorite Bethesda park. Grab a bike in summer for a leisurely ride or lace up your skates in winter for a ride on the ice rink. There is so much to do at Cabin John Park, you could easily spend all day here. But for now we must move on.

1:00 p.m. – Lunch at &Pizza

Everybody loves pizza and nobody does it better in Downtown Bethesda than newcomers &Pizza. Much like Chipotle, you can pick your own pizza toppings and every one of the oblong flatbread pizzas is baked fresh. This place is always busy during lunch, and there is a reason for that.

2:00 p.m. – Catch a Matinee at Arclight Cinema or iPic Theaters

We here in Bethesda are lucky to have two new luxury theatres to choose from. Once you go to either Arclight Cinemas or iPic Theaters, you’ll never want to go to another theater again. Enjoy the reserved seating, comfy chairs, and tasty snacks on offer here and spend the afternoon seeing the latest blockbuster.

5:00 p.m. – Recharge at Home

After a long morning and afternoon exploring Bethesda, you’ll want to head back to your apartment in the heart of Bethesda to change and recharge for the evening ahead because the day isn’t over yet!

6:00 p.m. – Have Dinner at Woodmont Grill

Woodmont Grill is a neighborhood favorite in Bethesda and has been serving high quality steaks, seafood, salads, and more with a unique modern twist since 1992. Plus, they have live jazz music nightly. We can’t think of anywhere better to dine on your perfect day out in Bethesda.

8 p.m. – Catch a Show at Strathmore

Finish the best day out in Bethesda by catching a show at Strathmore, a non-profit state-of-the-art performing arts center. Strathmore Music Center often features world-class performances from major artists across rock, soul, jazz, R&B, and more. Coming up are concerts by Diana Ross (9/15), Chick Corea & Bela Fleck (9/30), and Chris Cornell (8/14).
